Come on out in person on October 21 and enjoy a delicious lunch, while we fellowship and hear a great message from Ken Idleman Pastor Ken Idleman will share an inspiring message. Ken has an incredible background of both pastoral and business leadership. Today he serves as a mentor to many pastors across the country. We look forward to seeing all of you there! Our Speaker: Ken Idleman is the Vice President of Leadership Development at The Solomon Foundation. Ken is responsible for mentoring gifted pastors and equipping them with the resources they need to lead their churches to the next level. In his 20s, Ken began teaching at Ozark Christian College in the areas of Bible and ministry. At age 29, he was named President-elect and at age 31, he became the fourth president of OCC. After a colorful career in Christian higher education, Ken began a ten-year ministry as Senior Pastor of Crossroads Christian Church, a 4000 active member mega-church, located in southwest IN. In Ken’s words, “College presidents don’t retire; they go out to pastor!” In addition to leading a Bible college that has produced thousands of Christian leaders, he has personally mentored or counseled hundreds of Christian leaders over the years. Ken has been a Certified Church Health Consultant with the Thom Rainer Institute since 2005. Throughout his professional life he has consistently been an avid supporter of the mission of Christ through the local church. Ken’s ministry focus has been to raise up, equip, send out and faithfully support Christian leaders. Ken and his wife Kaylene have raised three children, who are all Christian leaders, along with their spouses, at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY. The Idleman’s have eleven grandchildren. Our Mission: Our mission at Christian Business Meetup (CBM) is threefold. Provide a place for Christians to connect in the marketplace, encourage believers to go deeper in their faith, not separating the secular and sacred, and connecting missions and ministries to Christian-owned businesses for support.
