Need Minimal Help with Electrical & Drilling for Christmas Project

I am making a couple of gifts for Christmas presents which require (1) combining several lines of string lights and then adding an electrical plug so they don't require batteries. (2) I also need holes drilled in the bottom of two large glass jars in order to weave the line through the holes to plug in the string of lights. (The string lights are inside the glass jars.) I am hoping to find someone (not a formal electrical business) who can do this as a freelance project. Of course, I want someone who knows how to do electrical things. I wouldn't think this would be difficult for someone who knows how to do this, so I am hoping it will be reasonable in price. If I find this job is too expensive, I will just forget my project all together. Please respond by email with a cost estimate. Also, there is plenty of time, so it doesn't need to be done immediately.
