We're the Ruby wedding+party band specializing in private parties, weddings, corporate events. We rehearse in Pleasanton near the Livermore border. We are 1 hour drive from Stockton and Modesto. We started gigging again 2 months ago (including a wedding, and a private party) and have new shows being scheduled. Click on videos at left to check out. Seeking a really good bassist and lead guitarist (one of whom sings male lead) that is same age range as our target audiences (25-40) with stage presence who is a quick study and interested in our genres which include: - dance-focused contemporary pop (Doja Cat, The Weeknd, Sia, Jonas Brothers, Dua Lipa, OutKast, Taylor Swift). - classic R&B dance (Whitney Houston, Prince, Kool +The Gang, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson). - '80's rock (Bon Jovi, Journey, The Outfield, Blondie, Pat Benetar, Joan Jett, AC/DC, Guns'N'Roses). - modern country (Lady Antebellum, Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker, Zac Brown). Qualities we are looking for: - ability to replicate your instrument part in pop songs like Say So (Doja Cat), Don't Start Now (Dua Lipa), Can't Stop The Feeling (Justin Timberlake), Sucker (Jonas Brothers). - the lead singer must act as MC and inspire the audience and get audience participation. - can sing harmonies (i.e., must be able to sing your vocal part even when there are 3 other singers doing other parts). - lives within 1 hour drive from Pleasanton. We rehearse 1x per week. - energetic onstage with the chemistry to be a part of the "front line" and meld with our female lead singer onstage.
