Irene McCoy Gaines & Albany Terrace | Subcontractor Outreach To ensure the broader subcontractor community is made aware of the project, provided with the opportunity to bid and create partnerships with other subcontractors, Skender/Blackwood JV + CHA & Michaels as developers, with 24th Ward Alderman Michael Scott, 28th Ward Alderman Jason Ervin and Tandem Ventures, invite you to attend a Subcontractor Outreach for the Irene McCoy Gaines & Albany Terrace projects. Bid packages for the project will not be released until the week of October 18th, which makes the Subcontractor Outreach the perfect setting to learn more about the project and reporting requirements ahead of bidding, network with the project team, and create meaningful connections with other subcontractors that will be in attendance. This outreach is focused on union firms only. A separate outreach focused on non-union firms will be hosted at a later date. While this will be a physical hiring fair, we remain sensitive to guidance and mandates regarding COVID. In that, City of Chicago COVID guidance will be followed: masks will be required, and social distancing will be enforced. For the purpose of contact tracing, registration of each attendee will be required.
