Grape and Barley Presents Comedy Night - a Beerly Funny Production *Showtime is 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.* Beerly Funny is thrilled to partner with Grape and Barley in Gastonia, NC for a live stand-up comedy show! Our show features three stand-up comedians from North Carolina. Join us for laughs on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Showtime is 7 p.m. Anticipated show rating is Adult PG-13. OUR COMEDIANS: HEADLINER: MIKE SPEENBERG Comedian Mike Speenberg is funny. He's performed on 5 different continents, entertained everyone from Hall of Fame Athletes to US Diplomats, shared the stage with everyone from Robin Williams to Bill Burr, and been featured on FOX, CNN, DryBar Comedy, Comedy Central, Pureflix Network, and even Armed Forces Radio. Mike has also traveled everywhere from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to Baghdad, Iraq on numerous occasions to perform for the men and women of the United States Military. Mike's corporate clients include Carnival Cruise Lines, Lockheed Martin, Mike's Hard Lemonade, The Chipper Jones' Foundation, The National Police Working Dog Association, Holland America Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines, and the Merrill Corporation. In 2014 Mike was an International Semi Finalist in Comedy Central's "UP NEXT" Comedy Competition. In 2016 he was chosen to appear on Pureflix Comedy All Stars hosted by Louie Anderson. Mike filmed his 45 minute DryBar Comedy Special in 2018. It's been viewed over 8 million times. FEATURE: JORDAN CENTRY Jordan Centry has hosted and co-produced multiple comedy shows and been a featured performer in several comedy festivals including the Queen City Comedy Experience and the North Caroline Comedy Festival. Some of his accolades include winning “Comic’s Comic” in the Comedy Battle Championship at The Comedy Zone in Charlotte and being named a semifinalist in The Ultimate Comic Challenge at The Idiot Box in Greensboro, NC. HOST & SHOW PRODUCER: LAUREN ANSLEY Based in Charlotte, NC, Lauren Ansley is a stand-up comedian, emcee/show host, show producer, and founder of Lauren Ansley Presents and Beerly Funny. She has been a featured performer in several comedy festivals throughout the Carolinas, named one of the comedians to know by Charlotte Five and was featured in The Charlotte Observer. She has opened for nationally touring headliners Dale Jones, Preacher Lawson, Sean Patton, Grandma Lee, Sean Finnerty and Michael Palascak. Her passion to make others laugh and slight southern accent are only overshadowed by her infectious smile and abnormal height of 5’13”.
