Ready to learn how to play Pickleball? Now that Placentia will be getting its own Pickleball courts, we want to teach you how to play! Ok, P-Town. We're going to put the P back in Pickleball and we need your help! We want to make sure that Placentia's new Pickleball Courts get lots of use so YOU need to learn how to play so you can teach your family, friends, and fellow Placentians (Placentia-ites?) So, in preparation for Placentia's Pickleball Courts, we have rented out 4 courts at the Anaheim Tennis Club and hired 4 professional Pickleball Coaches - yes there is such a thing! - to teach you how to play! Paddles and balls will be provided. All you need to bring is water and remember to wear tennis shoes. Come join The Mills Team for a couple hours of fun! In order to make sure that everyone has an adequate amount of coaching and time on the court, this event will be limited to 24 people. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to our friend and Placentia resident Shaun Kalpakoff to aid in his care and battle against ALS. *Boring but important small print* Tickets are limited to two per household. All attendees must be 18 or older for this event. All ticket sales are final. We will have a waitlist, so if you cannot attend but have purchased tickets, please message Heather Gapik or Aaron Mills on Facebook to let us know ahead of time so we can open those spots back up.
