Join Sustainable Braintree volunteer Robert Kearns on a walk along Smelt Brook the border between Braintree and Weymouth Join Sustainable Braintree volunteer Robert Kearns on a walk along Smelt Brook the border between Braintree and Weymouth in the towns shared Weymouth Landing. Robert will talk about the Smelt Brook and the namesake fish the rainbow smelt that run through this stream as well as the Monatiquot and Fore Rivers. Robert will also talk about the migratory American eel in the stream as well as the restoration efforts for the brook as well as the nearby Monatiquot River. The walk will be on stone dust/dirt path as well as paved sidewalks. Storm date is Sunday October 24th 10 - 11 am.
