Description

Sunset and full moon paddle at Causeway Park in Port Orange. We will meet at Port Orange Causeway Park, 93 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange and paddle out into the Halifax River as we take in the lighted skyline and watch the sunset in the western sky as the full moon rises above the eastern horizon and the condominiums that line the shore. We will paddle out at 5:00 p.m. and will return at 7:00 p.m. We will paddle out to Pelican Island as you take in the sunset and watch the moon rise. We will stop for a break as the moon shimmers on the water. Then we will paddle along the intracoastal waterway back to the launch. This is a great way to take in the Daytona Beach Shores skyline and meet new friends! You can also visit one of our local establishments which are close to the park such as Jimmy Hulas, Dunes Brewery or Our Deck Down Under.
