Paddle at beautiful and natural Wekiva Springs and the surrounding area We will launch from Wekiwa Springs State Park and will paddle up into Rock Springs Run and also down past Wekiva Island. You will experience some incredibly beautiful areas as you glide along the tree lined, crystal clear waters. Along the way you will see a variety of birds, turtles, possibly alligators and otters that live in this area. After the tour you can take a short drive to Wekiva Island and have lunch and an adult beverage if you so choose. The atmosphere is electric and the food and drinks are very good. You should bring water, snacks, a towel and change of clothes. Please try to wear moisture wicking clothes in case you fall in the water. They do not retain water or weigh you down if they get wet. Please check the weather and dress accordingly. All levels of paddlers can participate in this event. Local paddlers are always welcome to join us at no cost with your own equipment.
