The common and uncommon college prep checklist and more! Optimize your college career is a great event pre and post application season! Up until now most of your educational experiences are pre-planned with required courses and limited opportunity to build unique portfolios separate from the crowd. After all - we all have to take the same test! But, when the future is not always standards based; where we want our compass to point to is many times entirely up to YOU! So, where do you want to go from here? Maps to Caps! Our workshop covers the common and uncommon college prep checklist and more! We have workshops for (a) High School Students / Application Appeal & More, (b) Building Your College Career for Scholars in College. We give you ahead of the curve insights for when you arrive (on the college scene that is!) Our workshop also aims to (a) develop national networks of recent grads for those who share similar interests and possibly future friends (b) excite and focus high school students, © acts as a complimentary aid to HS teachers/guidance counselors, (d) be a resource to college advisors and orientation staff, (e) guide supportive parents in helping their future scholar in planning, making decisions, and/or preparing for college. Building Your College Career for Scholars in College:The facilitator provides space to discuss your hopes and fears, with exercises to help support you in deciding how best to prepare for the next four years. Without eliminating some of the sparkles that come with spontaneity, we have insights to offer on how to organically build a college experience to address all your personal, professional, and academic goals. Whatever your aim, make the most of your college experience by building a basic blueprint to adapt along the way. Find out some interesting ways to learn new skills and chase pursuits on and off campus...whether on a well-funded or shoestring budget.
