Immigration has been a long, ongoing thorn in the sides of both liberals and conservatives. Many administrations have come and gone and there seems to be no meaningful solution on the horizon both sides can agree on. For years, liberal have pitched legal status for dreamers, but have been blocked by conservatives. Conservatives have pitched secure borders using whatever means are available, including the wall, but liberals have consistently blocked those proposals. What about a compromise? Conservatives give dreamers status in exchange for liberals giving conservatives "the wall"?
