PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — A 23-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, both from Tampa, died following a crash on Interstate 275 in Pinellas County Friday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 7:10 a.m., a sports utility vehicle was heading south on I-275 when it lost control, entered the outside shoulder and then overturned. Three passengers were thrown out of the SUV during the crash.
The 23-year-old man died at the scene. The 30-year-old man was taken to the hospital where he died.
A 30-year-old Tampa man was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The driver, a 19-year-old man from Tampa, and a fourth passenger, a 21-year-old Tampa man, were treated for minor injuries.
