The cure that we are breaking a sweat and raising funds for is Breast Cancer and beyond. As we all know, October has been designated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As such, we are dedicating and walking/running our way fit for the many lives--family members, friends, family members & friends of friends & family members, etc.--that have been touched by breast cancer. This event is being held as a means to generate funds that will be donated to the Sisters Network, Orlando Chapter Organization. Sisters Network, Orlando Chapter is an affiliate chapter of Sisters Network Inc., a national survivorship organization. Sisters Network, Orlando Chapter is committed to increasing breast cancer awareness in the Central Florida communities through education and advocating early detection to help save lives from breast cancer and all cancers. Survivors and Non-survivors are welcome to join their effort to "Stop the Silence" in the Central Florida community about breast cancer. We are answering that call and joining alongside the Sisters Network, Orlando Chapter to do just that.
