COPIAGUE, NY — A 21-year-old man died Saturday morning after his car crashed into a tree, Suffolk County police said. Reny Cruz-Puente of Copiague was driving a 2004 Honda Acura TSX southbound on Deauville Boulevard, north of Kenmore Road, at 1:15 a.m., police said. The car left the roadway and crashed into a tree, ejecting Cruz-Puente from the car, police said. He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead, police said. Police are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
