It's a lot of people coming into a few lanes all at once," Natomas resident Daniel Sakaya said of the area. He created Latino Outdoors in 2013 as a way to find others like himself, those with similar cultural backgrounds, who like to get out on the trails. Latino Outdoors now has chapters nationwide, and because of his work, González is one of several big names to be featured in a Washington Post newsletter edition that reflects on the status of Latinos in the country.
