With the non-violent principles of Martin Luther King Jr. in his heart, John Lewis led the fight for voting rights, believing them to be a precious commodity. We hope that this slate of selections from Good Trouble, opens a new window will open dialogue and create opportunities for students and families to reflect on issues meaningful to them and provide inspiration to act, in ways big or small. Join us for special storytimes in honor of San Mateo County Reads! We will be giving away copies of Hair Love by Matthew Cherry and Black Brother by Jewell Parker Rhodes to families attending these events. Make sure to join us!
