V1ST.ORG  (Veterans First) a nonprofit organization (501C3) currently operating under the auspices of CHARMED, Incorporated (CA Entity #C3114926) is a non-profit organization.  V1ST (Veterans First) is striving to build housing and apartment communities in honor of our schoolmate and friend, Robin M. Williams, as well as my "twin sister" Mara.  In May of 2020 my "twin sister" sister passed away suddenly without being able to see to fruition our dream of raising $1 million dollars toward building housing for our over 40,000 homeless veterans.  However, Mara did leave behind almost $200,000 of her estate to be used entirely toward that end.  Only 20% will be used for expenses (since all employees are volunteers, we pay no salaries).  Those expenses include rent, utilities, and other similarly related costs.  Currently, we are looking to fulfill three (3) major positions (part-time or full-time depending solely on the applicant's desires).  We need experienced Grant Writers, individuals willing to help with inputting to our labor tracking system, and people to help advertise and help out at our weekly BINGO games held each Friday at 7:00P.  If you are interested in giving one, two, or more hours a week, every other week or once a month, please contact us directly at [email protected].  Thank you in advance for your consideration.
