Summary: Machine operator will machine, inspect and produce manufactured product per operating procedures and instructions. Machines used in shop include: Acer and Kent Surface Grinder, Cobra and Hardinger Lathes, Hyundia Vertical Mills, Kitura CNC Mills, Optical Comparator, Bridgeport CNC, Sunnen Hone. Skills/Qualifications Preferred: ● The ideal candidate will have a good work history, with mechanical ability and a willingness to learn. ● Minimum of high school diploma or GED. ● One to three years’ experience in set up and operation of machines, or completion of a machining program preferred but not required. ● Ability to read blueprints, work from layouts and dimensions on drawings, using indicators, gauges etc. ● Maintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and high standards. ● Maintain clean and orderly work area. ● Follow all safety procedures. ● Maintain records of production (scanning barcodes) ● Good communication with attention to detail.
