Amazing Dog for a Country Home or Farm

Taurus is an amazing dog for the right home. He would be a truly remarkable dog in the right environment. Unfortunately, we don't have that right environment for him and we weren't aware of this before we adopted him. So, knowing what we know now, we want to find him the best home by being completely honest about all of his good points and his challenging points. Taurus is: Extremely smart Extremely loyal Extremely loving Extremely active Taurus loves: Water/Swim Fetch/Frisbee & Ball Run Walks Cuddle He will be the most loyal companion you can have. He is incredibly smart (the smartest dog we've ever had or met). He is extremely affectionate and cuddly. He is an amazing guard dog. However, he is also a lot of energy. He needs to run and run and run some more. He would be perfect for someone who is outside and active, or who lives on a farm. He is vocal. He will bark to let you know when strangers are around or to get your attention. He is very people focused, but not so much dog focused. He has a prey drive and will chase animals outside (although he hasn't chased any indoor pets). Taurus would do best in the country with some acreage, especially a farm, where he can run where he wants and guard and protect the property and family. He is a border collie and pit bull mix (sometimes called BorderBull, PitCollie, etc), so he is a working dog. He does best when he has something to do, whether this is guarding a house, herding animals, watching kids, or running the land. He is very good about keeping his area neat and he does NOT chew what is not his. He loves his squeaky toys and bones that are his. Taurus would be the perfect dog for a hunter, outdoorsman, or farmer. He would NOT do well in a city, even with opportunity to play. Absolutely NO apartments. He is up to date on all his shots and vet visits. Small rehoming fee required.
