Island Harvest is looking for a Maintenance/Custodial Assistant for our Melville location. Responsibilities include assisting with minor building repairs and upkeep, maintaining the safety and cleanliness of our warehouse and grounds, and delivering packages and donated food throughout the office. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2 years maintenance/custodial experience, communicate well and have a strong grasp of time management. Candidates must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds, have the ability to adapt to change, be self-directed and work both independently and as an effective team member. Please reply by e-mail.
