Maybe the worse aspect of an already awful Biden—death tax

Biden wants to tax your children if they inherit your property. Right now the law is if you die and they inherit they won’t pay any property value gains. For example say your Mom bought a house for 200,000 in 1970 and she dies but the house is worth 2 million now, you get it all. If you sell it in 5 years and it’s worth 2 and 1/2 million you have to pay tax on that 1/2 million. Biden will change that and under his proposal you will pay immediate tax on the 2 million.
