Shipping and Receiving Associates • Pick Pack Associates • Freezer Selectors LOCATION: Bronx, New York COMPENSATION: $16.00 - $18.00/hr. + benefits! EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temp-to-Hire CALL 212 537 5942 Pick Pack Associates Picking food products for delivery within time window, scanning products, packaging for shipment, stocking inventory, Lifting, carrying, and pushing heavy items/carts in various temperature locations Must have proven experience as an Order Picker (or other warehouse positions), and knowledge of using voice picking systems or RF devices Must be able to work weekends (mandatory) Two Shifts – 5:00 AM to completion (Shift 1), 5:30 PM to completion (Shift 2) Must be able to read and write in English Must have good physical strength and stamina – ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. Shipping & Receiving Associates Process all inbound & outbound shipments quickly and accurately using computers, RF Scanning Guns, and motorized equipment to complete all required transactions Sort, locate and label packages, load packaging machines Lifting and maneuvering 70 lbs. Assist in shut down procedures and special requirements Machinery experience is a PLUS not a must (i.e. forklift; cherry picker; Hi-lo's, etc.) Shift duration ranges between 8-12 hrs. (hours per day are based on business need) At least 1 year’s previous experience is a MUST Must be able to pass motorized equipment certification within 1 month of starting work on dock Must be able to work weekends, start overnight or early morning hours (start times vary by department) Must be able to speak and read in English, and be comfortable with basic math skills Freezer Department Pick food products and pack in totes, scan labels on packages, load packaging machines with boats, and label packages with printed labels Apply knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products to everyday operation Quality assurance of frozen and finished materials Assist in housekeeping of the department Receive clear, detailed, and specific instructions and consults with Team leader on all matters outside the scope of daily responsibilities/activities Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday), start overnight shifts, and be comfortable working an 8-12hr shift (hours per day are based on business need) Experience in a related field is a plus Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs Must be able to pass a post-offer hearing test HIRING FOR IMMEDIATE START CALL 212 537 5942
