Description
Bear is a snuggly, loving little dude who has survived a car and other things, a fighter(not literally). He barks at strangers (as he should), and definitely let’s you know when someone is at your home that isn’t normally there or isn’t supposed to be there. He needs some discipline as he has gotten a little slack on what he can and can’t do. With the kids in school and the parents at work 6 days a week, for 10 hours a day, he has spent, and still spends,a lot of time in his kennel and it’s just not fair to him. This is also why his discipline has become lesser, as time hasn’t allowed me to keep up with it. He is house trained, and will go out with you every time you go out, but if he isn’t taken out regularly, or fresh out of his kennel, he does have accidents(as most dogs do).He just needs some TLC and boundaries and a little “reminder” obedience training. He loves to run in the yard, snuggle under the covers while napping, annihilating stuffed animals, playing with his toys, and belly rubs. He would do better in a home as an only animal(he hasn’t been exposed to other dogs often, but when he has he seems ok, but it wasn’t for long, and has never been around any other type animals). He will also do well in a home with older kids that know how to treat an animal. He’s good with our kids, but our 7 year old isn’t as gentle as she should be, and he does not like it. He’s never bitten anyone, but he does growl when uncomfortable. I’m trying to find him a nice, nurturing home because he isn’t living the life he deserves. He needs to be rehomed ASAP. He is not fixed or up to date on shots as I haven’t had the money or time to do so, and can’t get access to the humane society application. Covid has severely limited this. He is a healthy, happy little guy though. I love this little dude and need him to go to a home where I know he will be treated like he should be, with love and affection. Serious inquiries only. Small fee applies for my own peace of mind that where he goes is serious about giving him the best dog life he can have. He is two years old, will be three in January. We’ve had him since he was a puppy. Someone please give him the home he deserves and needs, as I don’t want to take him to the shelter. Original contact will be through email, but can continue through text or phone if serious Interest is shown.
