Abbie was an au pair in the USA from 2018 - 2020 in Nevada and Colorado. She would love to return to Nevada. Reference Abbie showed great empathy and understanding especially when she spoke of working with children with behavioural difficulties. She appears to have an intuitive connection with children and always seeks to find what works for each individual child so that they can make progress, and feel safe. She likes to have a positive impact on her children, take them further and help them to develop and take pride in their own successes. Abbie spoke of the challenges and rewards of having home schooled her host children during lockdown and how she was happy to conduct her own research in order to make her sessions more interesting and meaningful. Abbie has a wealth of interests, experiences and sound common sense to bring to the role, but most of all she has a strong desire to make a meaningful difference in the young lives. Infant and Adult CPR trained Successfully completed 2 years of being an au pair previously Native English speaker Experienced driver Enjoys hiking, Enjoys arts and crafts Loves board games and puzzles This is a full-time, live-in position: 45 hours per week, just over $9 per hour (per family, not per child) Au pairs can also do light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking related to the children.
