The Best Western Plus University Inn is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager/Chief Engineer to join the management team. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supervise and manage the Maintenance personnel and department • Repair and maintain hotel property and fixtures to maintain the high standard of excellence we strive to meet. (Areas maintained include but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration items, as well as pool/hot tub/sauna, communication systems, safety and fire control systems and grounds/landscaping) • Must be able to work well with others in a diverse working environment. • Must have flexible availability in scheduling to include weekends and holidays. • Must be able to stand for 8 hour shift. Must be able to lift, push, and pull a moderate amount of weight. • Position requires bending, reaching, and kneeling to perform duties. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • Detail Oriented • Communication Skills • Organizational Ability • Previous hotel maintenance experience is preferred. • Certifications in HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical preferred.
