Description

Meadows Montessori School is seeking a custodian and general maintenance person for daily upkeep. This is a M-F position with regular hours following the end of the school day. Some weekend hours may be required to fulfill other limited duties to maintain the school continuously. This position is considered part time. Requirements: -Must be willing to complete a Background Record Check -Ability to move/bend in full range of total body mobility -Ability to lift 40lbs -Meets state mandated vaccine requirements Position Duties: -Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies. -Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies. -Empties trash, recycling, and food plus receptacles; bags trash for proper disposal and disposes into designated areas for trash service pick-up. -Ensures all doors are locked and secured and windows closed after cleaning areas. -Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff, which may include submitting or recommending work orders and checking supply levels. -Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. -Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.
