Join the Childress Klein and Dowd YMCA Boards for an evening of fellowship and philanthropy to help change lives throughout Charlotte! The YMCA brings people together – from all backgrounds and circumstances – to create connections that transform lives and community. For almost 150 years, our Y has fostered meaningful and lasting personal and social change. With a mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all, we work alongside our neighbors to ensure everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. More than ever, our community needs the Y. We’ve always been more than just a gym and swim – filling gaps and supporting urgent needs – and we are determined to continue serving where we are needed most this fall. But, we cannot do it alone. Our Y is counting on donor support to power our back to school programs and ensure every child has access to the resources and relationships they need to reach their full potential. To help raise critical funds to make these programs happen, the Childress Klein and Dowd YMCAs are hosting a Party for a Purpose presented by Bragg Financial on Wednesday, November 17 from 5:00-7:00pm at NoDa Brewing (food and beverages provided!). By attending and supporting this event, you partner with us in changing lives throughout our Charlotte footprint. *Please note - the event will be held outside in the outdoor pavilion and turfed area.
