Pumpkin Decorating Contest benefitting breast cancer awareness. All proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. An event celebrating my mom and many others' fight against breast cancer. Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure raises awareness around breast cancer and funding for organizations that promoted breast cancer prevention, awareness, and treatment! In September 2020, my family signed up to fundraise for SGK's Walk Where You Are event. I set up a fundraising page with a goal of $500. In a matter of two weeks, I had raised over $2,500 and my family hosted our own version of Walk Where You Are in our neighborhood with close friends. Paint it Pink 2021, benefitting SGK, is a pumpkin decorating contest. Guest can choose to paint a pumpkin or vote penny wars style for the pinkest, most creative, and the best traditional pumpkin. The Master Pumpkin Decorator for each category wins a prize! Pumpkins can be carved, painted, etched, or decorated how every you please.
