Visit McGrath Family Farm and The STORE at McGrath Family Farm on Ventura County Farm Day! We welcome you to join us for a free farm tour! Find out all about what makes our organic, regenerative farm so fruitful from composting to soil regeneration. We are offering tours every half hour. We'll be doing a CSA Box raffle with every tour! Start and end your tour at The STORE where special Farm Day discounts will apply! The McGrath Family Farm was started back in the late 1860s and has been providing quality produce to the county ever since. We are a collaborative of small certified organic farmers that are growing healthy produce for our surrounding communities as well as training and supporting the next generation of regenerative farmers. Regenerative farming to us, is a system of agriculture that continuously improves environmentally, socially, economically. Visit The STORE to purchase all of our farm-grown offerings including organic produce, flowers, and plants. Our half-hour tours will highlight the legacy of the McGrath Farm and explain our collaborative farming example that is carrying that legacy into the future and bringing new farmers on board. See behind the scenes where your food comes from and how beneficial local organic produce can be for your entire family. SEEAG's mission is to educate students and the greater community about the farm origins of our food and agriculture’s contribution to nutritional well-being. Through a variety of education programs, SEEAG works to inspire our local communities to have a deep appreciation for agriculture and the hands and lands that feed us to ensure the future viability of agriculture in rural and urban communities. Since 2008, SEEAG has impacted the lives of over 40,000 students, 100% free of charge. In an effort to reach and educate more community members about local agriculture, SEEAG founded Farm Day in 2013, which has grown into a community-wide annual event for the entire family.
