Join us for a fast, fun, color-filled evening of printmaking at the Santa Paula Art Museum! Used by seasoned artists yet easy enough for the beginner to do at home, Monotypes Using Gelatin Plates is a fast, fun, color-filled experience in printmaking! On Thursday, October 21, join teaching artist Mariann Romero inside the Museum’s Cole Creativity Center from 6 PM to 9 PM to learn how to make gelatin plates, as well as how to use a variety of tools to create expressive and spontaneous imagery in water-based inks. This class is appropriate for everyone ages 16 and over. All skill levels are welcome, and all supplies will be provided. The cost of this class is $45.00 per person. Preregistration is required and space is extremely limited. Questions? Students are expected to remain home if they have any unusual health symptoms, and may ask for a refund if they cannot attend. Art creates community.
