Do you work from home and want to take a break to have a beer and connect with others who understand what it's like to juggle work and home. My name is Lisa Slook, co-founder of The Ant Space. My other half, AKA my "hus-friend," Allan Zane, is also a co-founder. We started this venture with a soft launch at the end of February 2020, and man has it been a wild ride!⠀⠀ A lot of people have asked us, "Why Ants?". Little known fact - I don't really like ants....at all. Our name goes deeper than "the insect."⠀⠀ Have you ever knocked down an ant hill? What happens? They work together and rebuild. No finger-pointing, yelling, blaming, like-minded, or flinging poo involved. Speculating here that there may be a "What in the heck was that!?!?" going on, however, that doesn't last long. They get back to it and build something GREAT. ⠀ It takes community, teamwork, and collaboration to move forward. So we wanted a space where like-minded individuals could come together, collaborate, learn from each other, and get stuff done! So we are having a Happy Hour Networking Event to meet more awesome people in the community, and I would for you to be there.
