We have a 13 month female charcoal lab that we can’t keep. She is sweet and very loving but digs holes in the yard and eats grass, deer poop, and sticks. She is full of energy and loves to walk in the woods, run with you and does great on bike rides. She is fine on a leash and absolutely loves other people and dogs. Not sure how she feels about cats - we don’t have one. She is high energy in her play time and as a result is a bit rough on our old dog. He has a bad knee and we are afraid she will hurt him. He won’t survive a surgery. She mostly entertains herself with toys, chasing her tail and just running around the yard like a wild thing. She will nap beside you while you work, but she definitely needs regular play/exercise time. I think we have broken her from chasing deer but she does still bark at them from time to time. She does get on the furniture, but we don’t have a problem with that. Mostly she gets on the furniture when she wants to take a nap or needs some belly rubs. She will be up to date on her shots on Tuesday - we are taking the dogs to get their annual checks and shots then. She is a pretty little thing - about 70 lbs.
