Description

Established high-end residential construction company seeking to hire a driver/laborer. We have an immediate need for an efficient, professional individual to join our team. We are a stable growing company, building some of San Francisco’s finest projects. This is a full-time position with steady, reliable hours. The applicant would perform runner duties, as well as, general labor work in the construction, maintenance, alteration and repair of buildings, structures, equipment and other structures made all or partially of wood, metal and concrete. The position will also require assisting other craft workers. The applicant would primarily be responsible for driving a company vehicle to various suppliers and handling purchasing, loading, transporting, and unloading jobsite materials. In addition, the applicant would work to clean jobsites, load refuse, and transport it to the dump/recycling facility. Other duties included, but not limited to are listed below: Performs materials handling and storage. Cleans job sites of construction waste Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. May perform some aspects of rough carpentry including, but not limited to, framing windows and doors, sub-flooring and stairs. May perform some aspects of finish carpentry including, but not limited to, trim, molding, furniture and casework. Erect and take down scaffolding. Assist other members of the crew The position is required to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under sometimes adverse working conditions. This position is entry level with good potential for growth and a career within the company. Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
