We are a Pest Control company. Our office is located in the city of San Francisco, and we service the following counties: San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, San Mateo and Solano. We are looking to hire about 10 people IMMEDIATELY. We are offering two apprenticeship programs that could lead to becoming a Pest Control Technician (Branch II Field Representative Technician), the person that applies the baits and traps for pests: IPM Technician Heat Treatment Technician Your duties will include prepping units by removing clutter, throwing out trash and old furniture, and light janitorial such as moping, wiping countertops and walls. We also use a heat treatment in people’s units to kill pests using high temperatures or by freezing smaller items by placing them in a freezer. IPM Technician Duties: Packing tenant's personal belongings Trash removal Organize furniture to allow tech to spray/add monitors/set-up traps Junk haul to nearest city dump Clear units of debris and trash Clearing surface tops and ground surfaces of grime and dirt Cleaning walls and baseboards of pest junk Removal of pests with vacuum Launder clothes and bed items Heat Treatment Technician Duties: Loading and unloading heating equipment from warehouse to tenant's apartment units Monitor heat equipment to stay at a consistent temperature Utilizing commercial fans, sensors, and iPads Monitor tenant items to prevent damage Shuffling tenant's belongings to ensure no cold spots Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills Maintain professional appearance Ability to work successfully as part of a team Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to work a flexible schedule Must have a current, valid driver's license Ability to lift or maneuver 50 pounds Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Off weekends, and Federal Holidays (unpaid) Compensation: $20.00 per hour while on a 90-day probational period. Once probation is over, you will be evaluated and are eligible for possible raise, depending on work ethics.
