Join us for multiple giveaways to the shops at Trilith, refreshments, and a hands-on "make it and take it" soap (42 oz) from scratch class! Come get soapy with us as we host a cold process soapmaking class with Christi D of Roesbud Naturals! Is this event for you?: Of course! This event is perfect for creatives, never created anything club members, friends, date night, solo, team building, or special celebration. However, If you don't want to create soap but want to come and watch the class, join us! Class max: 15 stationsSoap Station Max: 3 people (splitting tickets is totally fine!) What you get: You will learn soap safety 101 and experience a hands-on soapmaking workshop that will end with you being able to take home your whole 42oz loaf of soap still in the mold! We will have a full soap cutting tutorial for you as well! The 42oz soap loaf will be made of coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, castor oils & whatever additives you'd like! The additives provided will be colloidal oatmeal, oatmeal, rose kaolin clay, fenugreek powder, honey, and a few others! What you need for class: Every single thing needed to create a loaf of soap some scratch is included in your ticket including all mixing bowls, an emulsion stick blender, sodium hydroxide (this makes soap), all oils, fragrances, spoons, spatulas, point thermometer, the 42oz mold, the additives, goggles, containers, and the training! The only things you need are long sleeves, close toes shoes and of course your ticket! What's the rest?: That's it! We are so excited to have you join us in making soap! We will guide you through the soapmaking experience as you learn the ins outs and "all arounds" of cold process soap. Reminder: This is a hands-on experience. Important: We will have 15 soaping stations but once we get to the making of the soap we will be working with 3 stations at a time. We will walk you through the entire process. Maximum 3 people are permitted to be at one station. So if you want to split tickets, that's totally fine! After Class: After the 2-hour class, you can take home your 42oz soap mold to enjoy, give as gifts this holiday or keep it all to yourself! Cut those bars with 24-48 hours for the easiest cut! You want those bars drying 4-6 weeks to be ready for December!
