Nonviolent Communication for Kids David Ahlgren will facilitate a kids-friendly circle and and lay the foundations of and practice patterns of communication that promote harmony in life. Alongside his three children he will be using the "Giraffe Juice" book as a guide. The book is nor required for the class, but can be downloaded for free or purchased at www.giraffejuice.com. Nonviolent Communication (NVC) helps us learn how to hear our own needs and those of others. Through its emphasis on deep listening, to ourselves as well as others, NVC guide us to discover the depth of our own compassion. David is Certified Permaculture Teacher, Consultant, Designer, and Researcher and a father of three. Bring anything that makes you feel extra comfortable, we will provide mats, blankets, and extra props. Wearing a mask would not be required, but we will follow CDC social distancing guidelines. Admission is $10,- per child and a parent/caregiver Refund Policy: Same day Cancellations/ No Shows are non-refundable. Request prior to day of the event will be allowed to reschedule.
