Fall Fashion Photo Shoot for beginners to pros. Models and photographers, downtown Grand Haven. Lots of fun! Join us for our 9th annual Grand Haven Fall fashion shoot along the waterfront and downtown Grand Haven. Our models (5 so far) will be available for photographing in their fall attire; from casual to formal-wear. We will spend the first 30-40 minutes or so going over all the latest tips and tricks for shooting everything from portraits to group shots using available light, reflectors and fill-flash. We will be demonstrating the latest in ultra-portable flash gear. Come and see the newest gear and techniques. Our "subtractive lighting" technique will be emphasized to get the best pictures by balancing the background light with the subject. This technique is used by professional fashion and portrait photographers all over the world. Following the instruction, we will spend the balance of our time on the waterfront and downtown, photographing our models and scenery in beautiful downtown Grand Haven. Afterwards we will meet at a local restaurant to discuss and show what we have learned and photographed (optional). This event is always well attended and will be limited this year to only 16 photographers so there will be more time for one-on-one photography of the models and questions and answers. Beginners to pros may attend, as there is something for everyone. MEETING PLACE: Concert Tent at Waterfront Stadium, Harbor and Washington, downtown. Cost: $20.00, payable at the door.
