First, today's weather: Fog in the a.m.; mostly sunny. High: 77 Low: 69. Here are the top stories in Madison today: The encampment at Reindahl Park has stirred a great deal of controversy — especially over the past few months. And as winter approaches, city officials are looking to establish formal encampments which would include shelters to provide heat and electricity. Though, some folks at Reindahl have been living there for over a year and are worried that proposed formal locations will be too far from necessary resources. (Isthmus) The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art has a new exhibit. "Caja de visiones" will include art by Mexican and Mexican-American artists from the beginning of the 20th century and today. There are additional components such as lectures, workshops and poetry readings. (Madison 365) Map updates! This week, the city's redistricting committee made a unanimous decision in its preference for map concept 7a. This map prioritized not splintering neighborhoods, keeping the University of Wisconsin-Madison resident halls together and Tenney-Lapham in one district.
