EAST HAMPTON, NY — A string of larcenies from unlocked vehicles in residential driveways has been reported in East Hampton, police said. According to East Hampton Town Police, the thefts have taken place in recent weeks. Police are advising residents to lock their vehicles, remove valuables, and be aware of suspicious activity, particularly during overnight hours. Any suspicious activity on doorbell cameras or alarm systems should be reported to EHTPD at 631-537-7575 or 911 in an emergency. "The eyes and ears of the community help us keep you safe," police said.
