NORWICH — A Norwich resident is $20,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in town earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On October 4, Jean Smith, of Norwich purchased a 20X Cash 7th Edition ticket from the Cumberland Farms in Norwich and won $20,000.
