Occupation: Small Business Owner
Family in government: No
The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Milford is thriving thanks to the incredible leadership of Mayor Ben Blake and I fully intend to support his efforts to make Milford the best place to live in Connecticut.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I am a lifelong Milford resident and owner of a 4th generation business here. My family has called Milford home since our immigration from Italy 100 years ago. I have worked directly with generations of Milford residents for over 15 years. This background has given me a truly unique perspective on what makes Milford unique and, more importantly, and what matters to the people who call this city home.
Accomplishments:
-My business is consistently ranked among the best retail shops in CT and both in terms of service and employee satisfaction. -Organizer and co-founder of charity race to benefit mental health and addiction treatment. -Proud supporter of Paid Family Leave Initiative -My shop has donated hundreds of pairs of shoes to people in need; at home and abroad.
Other issues:
-Fair and honest representation for EVERY district resident -Decisions based on facts and moral objectivism. -Equal access to enrichment programs and opportunities
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I'm an avid musician and support local art and music programs. My partner is also a musician as well as a multilingual teacher and mother. My favorite spots in Milford are Eisenhower Park and Laurel Beach.
