ROMEOVILLE, IL — The following information is from the Romeoville Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt. Sept. 26 Jenna Zak, 23, of Plainfield, was charged with assault at 2:49 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Weber Road. Oct. 1 Someone defaced playground equipment with black marker in the 100 block of Wesglen Parkway. Oct. 2 Gerardo Rivas, 34, of Aurora, was charged with retail theft at 6:33 p.m. in the 400 block of Weber. Ramon Calderon, 19, of Brookfield, was charged with aggravated speeding, no headlights when required, reckless driving, fleeing and attempting to elude police and no insurance at 1 a.m. at Route 53 and Taylor Road. Someone entered an unlocked car and stole a purse and $5 from the center console in the 1700 block of Rudolph Court. Oct. 3 Isaac Luna, 20, of Crest Hill, was charged with speeding, DUI and no insurance at 1:33 a.m. at Normantown and Michigan.
