SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The Shaker Heights Schools are considering a vaccine mandate for all employees. According to the proposal, all staff would have to receive their first vaccinne by Nov. 1, though exceptions would be made for medical or religious reasons, according to News 5. However, staff that are not vaccinated would need to provide the district with a negative COVID-19 test every week. More than 80 percent of Shaker Heights staff are already fully vaccinated, according to Fox 8.
