Press release from the Oconee County: October 7, 2021 The Oconee County Board of Commissioners presented a proclamation in honor of National 4-H Week to the Oconee County 4-H on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at the Board of Commissioners meeting. The Board also recognized 4-H students for their accomplishments in the program. National 4-H Week is a time for local 4-H programs across the nation to celebrate the many ways in which 4-H contributes to the growth and development of life and leadership skills in young people. The 4-H program in Oconee County is offered through the University of Georgia's College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Cooperative Extension.
