We are committed to the clients and customers we serve; our mission is to provide the best solutions and services available. Job Summary: We are looking for a Service Technician to join our team! Our technicians perform maintenance and repairs on all types of commercial vehicles using a variety of tools and equipment. This is a hands-on position for maintenance repairs to include preventative, mechanical and electrical repair to tractors, trucks and trailers. Mobile Diesel Technician Job Duties and Responsibilities: Perform scheduled maintenance on light, medium and heavy duty trucks to stay on top of fleet services. Experience with class 6-8 truck maintenance and repair. Willingness to drive to clients locations and breakdown locations to repair and maintenance vehicles mostly on a nontraditional schedule. Self-motivation and the ability to work with little to no supervision. Strong communication skills and a professional approach to working directly with customers. Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often Ability to troubleshoot customer complaints and observe for unreported problems Effective Communication with dispatcher on arrivals, departures and job progress Inspect different parts of trucks such as the engine, brake systems, tires, fluids, transmission, front and rear end components, steering and suspension mechanisms to ensure they are in the proper condition to operate effectively Ability to use specialty tools and equipment, such as pneumatic wrenches, screwdrivers, welding tools, support hoists and floor jacks, to repair trucks while constantly utilizing safety precautions. Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing using devises such as motor analyzers, handheld computers and chassis charts to determine how to address problems Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle record review Must be in uniform during work hours. We base our Pay Structure on the Level of experience and on-the Job work history you have. $18 - $30hr pay
