Job description Immediate Hire!!!! HomeEnergy, Inc. (HE) seeks a Solar Box Truck Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of solar equipment to predetermined job sites. There are full and part-time positions available. The hours for the full and part-time positions range from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The driver must report to the warehouse, load the materials into the delivery vehicle (using a hand truck) and then deliver the materials to job sites around the area. We will provide solar parts training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn. If you're interested in taking on a new challenge at a growing company, we encourage you to apply today. Responsibilities Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods. Inspect all equipment to ensure all required parts have been provided. Pack and load products onto trucks according to Company's specifications. Deliver orders to job sites on assigned routes. Maintain ongoing communication with Construction Supervisors. Requirements Minimum 1 year’s experience as a delivery driver Experience driving box trucks Experience with driving 6X12 trailers preferred Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Strong customer service skills. Prior solar experience a plus. Ability to perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds frequently.
