We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent for new-building construction of commercial and residential buildings. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all trades and effectively managing daily on site activities. The successful candidate must possess the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with the clients while successfully directing the sub-contractors and other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget. This individual will work closely with the Project Manager and fulfill an integral role on the project. Responsibilities Complete homes from permit to certificate of occupancy. Ensure vendors and trades show up on time, work safely, and efficiently. Complete home per schedule and budget. Document job progress. Schedule and pass inspections. Keep a clean and orderly job site. Procure materials as needed to ensure the jobs run on schedule. Have the ability and desire to fill-in as needed to keep jobs running and to control costs as needed. Client interaction. Quality control. Job walks with vendors and subs for pricing, QC, and scheduling input. Communicate with clients, architects, engineers to resolve issues. Other tasks needed to complete homes safely, per specifications, on schedule and on budget. Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5+ years of residential construction experience Knowledge of residential construction Basic knowledge of building codes Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Previous experience as a construction superintendent for single family residential construction Current drivers license with clean driving record · Ability to lift 50lbs. · Strong team player and communication skills · Strong knowledge of multiple construction trades. · Ability to perform construction tasks. Ability use a computer, send and receive email and use simple scheduling programs Salary Range – Based on Experience
