33 year old songwriter / producer looking to start a prog rock band under the name FREYA. I consider myself a guitar architect and wrote a LP album this year. The songs are completed w/lyrics and just looking to perform them live with a 4-Piece / 5-Piece band; I really do think I have one of the best rock albums put out this year (that nobodies heard haha), but that's just IMO! Looking for all members; open to either female or male vocalists. The Artists I'm influenced by for this project are: - Pink Floyd - Tool - Flyleaf - Smashing Pumpkins - Nine Inch Nails - Rage Against the Machine - The Beatles - Primus - Porcupine Tree - My Bloody Valentine - Alice In Chains - Soundgarden - Slowdive - Genesis - Rage Against the Machine - Rush - Megadeth - Ride - Faith No More - King Crimson - Dream Theater - Liquid Tension Experiment - A Perfect Circle - Flower Travellin Band - Lush - Killswitch Engaged - Black Sabbath - Metallica - Led Zeppelin - The Who - Queens of the Stone Age - The Mars Volta - Mastodon - Opeth - Kyuss - M83 - Coheed and Cambria - Boris - At the Drive-In - Emerson, Lake, and Palmer Etc, etc, etc. If you are interested, let me know a bit about yourself, maybe share some links to your music, and I'll send links over from my producer soundcloud! You must: Practice and learn songs on your own, have a form of transportation, have your own gear, be able to split the rehearsal room cost, and be reliable. If you smoke weed, that's a big plus.
