Some kind of Americana band

I work full time. I have a family. I'm already in a band. We don't gig as much as I'd like to. The band is too big for some venues. My family, my job, and my established band are my higher priorities, so everything would have to fit in around that. I'd like to get a three piece thing going, rock, punk, blues, country, rockabilly- something like that. I can play bass guitar, or upright bass, or rhythm guitar. I'm not a strong lead guitarist, but I could get there with the right environment and motivation. I can sing some lead and some backups. Ideally everyone would sing some lead and backups. Covers to start, originals if anyone has them or write as we go. Not super interested in playing a perfect rendition of a recorded song, but our version of a song. More interested in originals than covers. Rehearse maximum 1 time a week. gig 2-4 times a month. I'm in Orwell. Rehearsals could be in my garage unless something better is available. Willing to drive about 25 miles one way for rehearsals. Willing to go as far as the $ makes sense for gigs.
