I bought a retirement property in Idaho a couple of years ago and I'll be living there full-time in another year or so. Let me tell you what I know so far; It's great for the CITIZENS. Low crime and overall there's less laws/rules/regulations/taxes/government intrusion. Last year, the State of Idaho issued refund checks to all of the taxpayers, because they had a surplus of funds. This year, they have reduced state taxes, to coincide with their lower budget projections. When's the last time that happened in Calif. or New York? Or any other Democrat-run state, for that matter ?? Last week, the power company in Idaho sent letters out to all electricity customers, telling us our energy costs will go DOWN next year. Land is still relatively cheap and Idaho is one of the most picturesque, relaxed, safe and clean environments in the entire country. The only price Idahoans have to pay to live in this Paradise is vote Republican. Pretty simple when you think about it.
